Prager H3: Open Lines

Prager H3: Issues raised include: Why do artistic people tend to be more liberal; What do you think about astrology; What criteria do you consider before deciding to visit a country; How do you resolve being anti-gay marriage even though you are accepting of gays on a personal level; How long do I try resolve issues with my estranged wife before giving up. A Best of Prager Hour. Originally broadcast on October 30, 2009.

Prager H1: Banning the Veil

Prager H1: Belgium parliament ban the veil in their country. The vote to do it was unanimous … UN appoints Iran to Women’s Rights commission. Women stoning, sun tan banning Iran? If this wasn’t so pathetic, it would be a joke… Dennis talks to Charles Djou, Republican Candidate for the 1st Congressional District in Hawaii, special election. The seat has been held by the Democrats for nineteen years. Djou has a real chance to win…

Prager H3: The Alan Grayson Left

Prager H3: Anthony Weiner and Alan Grayson proudly speak for Democrats and the Democratic Party. Here’s a taste: Weiner called Arizonans who are for the Arizona immigration law Nazi-like and Grayson calls them xenophobic bigots, white Christians who hate immigrants who aren’t like them. Dennis talks to Stephen Prothero, professor of religion at Boston University. God Is Not One: the Eight Religions that Run the World — and Why Their Differences Matter.

Prager H2: Domination Media

Prager H2: ABC News headline shouts “Texas to Introduce Anti-Immigration Bill.” This is typical reflexive leftist thinking. Anti-Immigration? No, Anti-Illegal Immigration. Big difference. But not to the Left. Hamas says that Egypt pumped a tunnel full of gas, killing four Palestinians. Can you imagine the international outrage if Israel did something like this? But it’s Arabs killing Arabs, so no big deal. Dennis talks to Eric Volz, former magazine publisher who was wrongly convicted of murder in Nicaragua. His book is Gringo Nightmare: A Young American Framed for Murder in Nicaragua. It’s no longer safe to get a sun tan in Iran. It’s not Islamic. These people are developing a nuclear weapon.

Prager H1: Boycott the Giants

Prager H1: San Francisco’s mayor demands a boycott of Arizona. A Leftist sportswriter wants fans to boycott the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team. Dennis has another idea: let’s boycott the San Francisco Giants. Dennis talks to Glen Whitman, Professor of Economics, California State University, Northridge about distortions in the widely quoted World Health Organization study, ranking countries by health. This study is cite frequently by liberals to prove that US health care is a disgrace, but the disgrace is this study.

Prager H3: Raising Arizona

Prager H3: Dennis talks to Senator Jon Kyl of Arizona about that state’s new controversial immigration law. Senator Carl Levin of Michigan, a Democrat, uses an expletive (shi***y) eleven times in 4 minutes while berating a former Goldman Sachs executive. That’s class, Senator. Peter Orszag, Obama’s budget director, chortles at how cleverly the health care bill was written. A panel of technocrats will control costs and there’s little anybody can do about it.

Prager H2: Male/Female Hour: Surviving Infidelity

Prager H2: Dennis asks listeners if they’ve suffered through an infidelity. If they did, did it destroy their marriage or did the process of surviving it make the marriage stronger?

Prager H1: Border Patrol

Prager H1: The hysteria about the new Arizona immigration law grows shriller with each passing day. Jesse Jackson is the fear-monger du jour. According the reverend, the Arizona law mandates terrorism. Dennis analyzes.

Prager H3: Ultimate Issues Hour: Should a Child Fear His Parents?

Prager H3: In chapter 19, verse 3 of Leviticus, the third book of the Hebrew Bible, it says “you shall fear, every man, his mother and his father.” Is this admonition still valid in our modern world?
Dennis argues that it’s more important than ever. Best of Prager Hour. Originally broadcast on March 24, 2009.

Prager H2: James Cameron, Scientist

Prager H2: To film director James Cameron, the case for Global Warming is closed and those who are skeptical are criminally negligent. Dennis tells the story of his Kafka-like encounter with TSA at LAX on his way to MPS.

Prager H1: Obama Calls His Posse

Prager H1: The President sent a video message out to 13 million supporters, focusing on blacks, Hispanics and women. They helped him get elected and now he wants them back in the voting booth in November. Can you imagine if a Republican asked for his white voters to turn out. The Left looks at the Tea Party and dismisses it as a “white” movement. But isn’t that racist? The issue isn’t right or wrong. It’s white or black to the Left. Dennis understands Arizona’s frustration about its illegal immigrant issue, but worries about it being a distraction from the larger issues in November.
