Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: is throwing glitter on Republicans a hate crime? Does God intervene in our lives to create circumstances that would not otherwise take place? Why are we so politically correct about ethnicity, but not about obese people? If you could have a conversation with anyone, who would it be? Dennis’ answer…to people who drive slowly in the left lane.
Prager H2: If you walk around as an envious and jealous person, you cannot be happy. Why? Because if you are jealous of what others have, you won’t be grateful for what you have. No matter how much wealth and beauty you have, there will always be people who have more. The key to happiness is gratitude and a key to gratitude is to not be envious.
Prager H1: John Boehner is having trouble passing his debt ceiling bill. Although Dennis sympathizes with the refusal of some Republicans to raise the debt ceiling, Boehner’s plan is the best that we can expect considering that Republicans don’t control the Senate or the White House…Police arrested Naser Abdo, a U.S. soldier based in Fort Hood, TX who planned a second attack on the army base. Why is the Left so afraid of saying that this man is Muslim? There are many Muslim groups in America that hate what terrorists have done to their name, but the media only listens to CAIR.
Prager H3: Dennis talks to fellow talk show host, Glenn Beck. Dennis is unhappy that this good man has been libeled by the Left. The accusation that Beck is anti-semitic is absurd. Dennis heard Beck at a pro-Israel conference last weekend. He gave a stirring pro-Jewish, pro-Israel speech… More on the debt crisis.
Prager H2: Dennis talks to Tim Scott, Republican Congressman from South Carolina, about the NLRB suit against Boeing. This is a national travesty… Dennis returns to the debt issue.
Prager H1: Tom Sowell and Investors Business Daily have joined the Wall Street Journal in advocating the Boehner Debt Plan. It’s not perfect, but it is the best available option… Dennis talks to Frank Luntz, renowned pollster and Fox News analyst, about who’s winning Debt Crisis PR war… Dennis also talks to Adam Lerrick, Professor of Economics at Carnegie-Mellon University, about the economic consequences of the debt crisis.
Prager H3: Dennis talks to Robert Spencer, Director of Jihad Watch. Spencer, who writes on Radical Islam, has been blamed by the LA Times and NBC for the mass murder in Norway. It’s the Left blaming Sarah Palin for the Giffords shooting all over again… Dennis returns to the debt issue… George Soros has been a champion of regulating Wall Street, but now that he has to live under the new regulations, he’s getting out of the hedge fund business.
Prager H2: Dennis asks those who have been married 10 years or longer to give advice to those who are single and want to get married. Dennis has his own list. Callers weigh in.
Prager H1: Speaking pragmatically, is the Boehner plan the best and only plan out there?
