Prager H1: Dennis is very excited that his favorite sports team, the Los Angeles Kings, are going to the Stanley Cup (Hockey World Series), but he doesn’t fully understand why.
Prager H3: This is the third in the series of Dennis’s investigations into “the difficult passages of the Bible.” The topic of this hour is Exodus 21:24 – commonly misconstrued as intended literally… Dennis offers three poignant reasons this passage was monumental for humanity.
Prager H2: A columnist for the N.Y.T., Jodi Kantor appeared on MSNBC and you won’t believe what she has uncovered about Mitt Romney… wait for it… He has prayed on both business and political decisions, and believes that God played a role in American exceptionalism!
Prager H1: In Oklahoma, an unknown gunman shot eight people after their NBA team won its conference semi-final. When will bashing Mitt Romney for his experience with Bain Capital cease to have impact; David Brooks wrote an excellent column for the N.Y.T. explaining: How Change Happens.
Prager H3: One of the leading generals in Iran says that his country is committed to the annihilation of Israel. Only one nation in the world is subject to this kind of rhetoric.
Prager H2: The Democratic Mayor of Newark, Cory Booker, undermines half of the Obama strategy – smearing Bain Capital. He tries to step back from his original comments, but the damage (to Obama) can’t be undone… The rhinoceros is threatened with extinction for a very bizarre reason.
Prager H1: Dennis attended the college graduation of his niece. He came home with new thoughts about college and wisdom.
Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: What are the best discipline methods for children, is the death penalty appropriate for crimes other than murder, which Jewish rule does Dennis find hardest to follow, and what has been the most important lesson Dennis has learned from the male/female hour?
