Prager H2: The Democratic Mayor of Newark, Cory Booker, undermines half of the Obama strategy – smearing Bain Capital. He tries to step back from his original comments, but the damage (to Obama) can’t be undone… The rhinoceros is threatened with extinction for a very bizarre reason.
Prager H1: Dennis attended the college graduation of his niece. He came home with new thoughts about college and wisdom.
Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: What are the best discipline methods for children, is the death penalty appropriate for crimes other than murder, which Jewish rule does Dennis find hardest to follow, and what has been the most important lesson Dennis has learned from the male/female hour?
Prager H2: How does one cure unhappiness? Dennis has come up with four ways to remedy it and also coins a new phrase, “Seeking sympathy rather than remedy is a recipe for misery.” Callers weigh in.
Prager H1: Dennis covers the interesting details about a man in Egypt who arose after being prepared for burial by grieving relatives. The latest on the Treyvon Martin case is that prosecutors may have overlooked certain details in order to find a villain. Dennis points out that people overwhelmingly want a villain to blame in order to get a perception of justice in an otherwise unjust world.
Prager H3: Dennis talks to Arthur Brooks, President of the American Enterprise Institute. His new book is The Road to Freedom: How to Win the Fight for Free Enterprise.
Prager H2: Dennis saw a sign yesterday with this phrase, Mitt: I Got Mine, Screw the Rest. That nicely sums up the Left’s view of Republicans… Whites account for the half of the births in the US for the first time. Liberals would be surprised to learn that Conservatives care about values not race…
Prager H1: Dennis’s computer wakeup call this morning came with a message: the way to wisdom is a loving heart. What does that mean? What is a loving heart? And, even if taken at face value, do we want to depend on “a loving heart” for wisdom? Dennis has some answers. So do listeners.
Prager H3: Dennis talks to Conor Friedersdorf, writer for The Atlantic. Friedersdorf believes that Dennis is exaggerating the impact of redefining marriage to include same sex couples.
