Prager 20111207 – 2 Male/Female Hour: Something Missing
Prager H2: Is there is something missing from modern men? Is it harder for a woman to find a good, responsible man? Are men too boyish? If so, why? Callers weigh in.
Prager H2: Is there is something missing from modern men? Is it harder for a woman to find a good, responsible man? Are men too boyish? If so, why? Callers weigh in.
Prager H1: This will be the last reunion of survivors of Pearl Harbor… The President gave a major economic speech yesterday in Kansas. He sounded populist themes, veering to the Left and channeling Teddy Roosevelt (after he left the Republican Party). Dennis plays clips and analyzes.
Prager H3: The answer is yes with the obvious caveat that we are talking about Judeo-Christian religions or other religions that stress ethical behavior, not radical Islam. You may not want to be religious; you may be an atheist and perfectly moral, but you can’t deny that religion makes people better.
Prager H2: The Islamist Muslim Brotherhood is the big winner in Egyptian elections. The even more radical Salafis finished second. Together they garnered 60% of the vote… Charles Blow NY Times columnist thinks he knows Newt Gingrich’s “dark” soul. And Democrats accuse Newt of being arrogant.
Prager H1: There has been rash of absurd “sexual harassment” cases involving little kids in school… The NY art world has been rocked by a modern art fraud scandal… Dennis bought an electric generator to power his house and used it for only a few hours. Would he have been morally right to return it?… A jury is deciding whether or not to sentence the second Connecticut monster/murderer to the chair. What’s to decide? The guy is guilty. He should be executed tomorrow… Congratulations sculptor Martin Boyce! You have won the prestigious Turner Art Prize ($40K) for your piece of junk.
Prager H3: Mark Taylor laments over six holiday traditions that seem to be disappearing: office parties, aluminum trees, fake snow, tinsel, and watching “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Mark also took umbrage with several popular Christmas tunes, but seems to be in the minority with this opinion. TV ownership is in decline, is it a consequence of social media? Callers respond.
Prager H2: Mark Taylor sees advantages and disadvantages with both Romney and Gingrich. An initiative in California, the California Opportunity and Prosperity Act, if passed seeks to grant amnesty to all illegal immigrants that have been in the state for four years.
Prager H1: Mark Taylor guest hosts for Dennis. On Saturday Herman Cain’s campaign train derailed. Taylor asks who are you supporting, and who can beat Pres. Obama? Callers weigh in.
Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: A run for President, on keeping Kosher, advice on being over worked, and whether a husband and wife should share a bed.
