Prager H1: The government is on the verge of a shutdown. The Democrats would be thrilled if it happened. It will give them a great chance to demagogue. Jimmy Carter equates the way Christianity treats women and the way Islam does. This is standard liberal thinking.
Prager H2: Parents understandably obsess over their children. But until parents realize that they can’t make or break their children, they’ll have a tough time to being happy.
Prager H3: Dennis opens the hour talking to Congressman David Dreier about the pending government shut down. The Congressman was delighted that Dennis couldn’t take his call last hour – it was the Happiness Hour and nothing disrupts that. Callers then take over. Issues raised include: Do Democrats have a dark view of life; how much can we tax the risk; does Dennis use generalizations too much.
Prager H2: Dennis talks to Los Angeles City Councilman, Dennis Zine, about this beating incident and the Dodgers’ poor security. This hideous incident says a lot about misplaced social priorities.

Prager H1: Last week two San Francisco fans were beaten by two “Dodger fans” after a game at Dodger Stadium. One of the victims remains in critical condition, almost certain to have brain damage if he survives. The idea that you can’t feel safe at a baseball game is an appalling comment on our society.
Prager H1: Nancy Pelosi decries the fate of children and seniors in expressing her horror at the proposed Republican budget cuts for 2011. Thus it was, is and ever will be. With the Paul Ryan deficit reduction plan on the table, the parties have taken sides: the Republicans are serious about reducing the deficit. And what about the Democrats? Are they serious?
