Dennis asks his listeners if they share his belief that it’s a moral obligation to be happy. Callers weigh in.
Dennis asks his listeners if they share his belief that it’s a moral obligation to be happy. Callers weigh in.
Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: does Dennis like young people; should a conservative who receives “welfare” repay the money when he can; does Dennis believe in an afterlife; would Dennis cancel an appearance because of a blizzard forecast; why do people believe in conspiracy theories.
Prager H1: Dennis admits he’s a sucker for infomercials, especially for exercise equipment. Callers are a little more cynical.
Prager H2: The Philadelphia Eagles postponed their game on Sunday because of a forecast of bad weather. PA Governor, Ed Rendell, was appalled. Dennis agrees with the governor. Dennis does a part three on Margaret Thatcher’s American Experiment speech for Hillsdale College in 1994.
Prager H3: Dennis talks to Anthony Esolen, professor of English at Providence College. His new book is Ten Ways to Destroy the Imagination of Your Child.
Prager H1: You might think (in either direction) that the answer is easy, but callers suggests otherwise. They split down the middle. Dennis offers his theory. A Best of Prager Hour. Originally broadcast on May 1, 2008.
Prager H2: Children almost always have a disrupting influence on a marriage. How you cope with this disruption will shape the future of your relationship with your spouse. A Best of Prager Hour. Originally broadcast on March 11, 2009.
