Prager H3: Who Wants Power?

Prager H3: Is it the Left or the Right? Let’s see: the Left wants bigger and bigger government. The Right wants smaller government and more liberty for individual. The leaked documents from Iraq confirm that the infamous 600K Iraqis killed number published in the British publication Lancet was a fraud. Nancy Pelosi bemoans the fact that Democrats don’t get credit for what they’ve wrought over the last two years. Ironically, she’s right.

Prager H2: Happiness Hour: Good and Plenty

Prager H2: Most of what we want is not good for us – cheesecake, potato chips, TV, sleeping in, and other dozen other things we can all think of. But if we give in to our “wants” we will make ourselves unhappy. Personal discipline, as difficult as it can be, brings us more happiness than yielding to most temptations.

Prager H3: Open Lines

Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: is there really an afterlife; how do you teach a child not to have an inflated opinion of himself; can you reject the American Trinity and still be an American; is Left obsession with equality based on a false premise; should a parent let her young child where clothes with the peace sign on them.

Prager H1: National Left Radio

Prager H1: The masquerade, if there ever was one, about NPR being an objective news source is over. With the Juan Williams firing, they’ve finally and fully exposed themselves… George Soros has just given $1.8M to NPR for a bunch of new reporters. He only gives to Leftist organizations. The public service union is now the biggest spender in this election. They are drawing on a special fund to save Democrats.

Prager H1: Tighten Up

Prager H1: Political races are tightening up across the country – in both directions. Republicans are gaining in some races and Democrats gaining in others. Political commentator, Juan Williams, gets the can from NPR. He told Bill O’Reilly that when he sees Muslims in Muslim garb getting on a plane, he gets nervous. That was enough for NPR to show him the door. But does anyone at NPR feel differently?.. Do you vote for the candidate or the party?

Prager H2: Leading Questions

Prager H2: A moderator of a debate of Florida Senate candidates asked Republican Marco Rubio an obviously leading question, suggesting that even though Rubio is Latino, he’s really anti-Latino. Do Democrats every get treated like this?.. Dennis talks to Stanley Kurtz, Senior Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, as well as a contributing editor for National Review Online. His new book is Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism.

Prager H3: Socialism Defined

Prager H3: Dennis reflects on the definition of socialism. It doesn’t mean that the government owns businesses. That’s Marxism. But it does mean that the government controls business. Dennis plays Marco Rubio’s great response to the attack question he played in hour two. Dennis talks to another impressive Republican candidate, Nan Hayworth, running for Congress in the 19th district of New York. A doctor (ophthalmologist), mother and businesswoman, she knows why Big Government is the problem, not the solution. Dennis also talks to Kelly McManaman from Atlanta, Georgia. She’s been inspired to become a Republican activist in this election.

Prager H1: War

Prager H1: Dennis talks to Sebastian Junger, best-selling author and renowned investigative journalist. His new book about his experience with soldiers in Afghanistan is War. A Best of Prager Hour. Originally broadcast on May 17, 2010.
