Prager H3: Ultimate Issues Hour: God and Disbelief
Prager H3: What stops you from believing in God? Callers weigh in with their doubts.
Prager H3: What stops you from believing in God? Callers weigh in with their doubts.
Prager H1: Over 50 Iraqis were murdered by a suicide bomber. What would happen if thousands of imams said that these murderers were sent straight to hell? The way you assess the moral nature of a group is how it reacts to evil among its own group. The Ninth circuit is staying Judge Walker’s ruling that same sex couples can marry until December. Do kids no longer need a mother or a father?
Prager H1: President Obama endorsed the building the mosque at GZ. Of course, it’s legal. But is it moral? Is it appropriate? Dennis poses more questions: will Muslims conclude – “What a tolerant country America is.” Or will they conclude, “look at the strides Islam has made in America. We really can take over.”
Prager H2: A museum in Vienna is having an exhibit of N Korean propaganda art. The California teachers union wants its members to cancel their subscriptions to the LA Times. Dennis talks George Friedman, CEO and founder of Stratfor, a global intelligence company.
Prager H3: Dennis continues with favorite Prager Show guest, George Friedman. In 1994 the Democrats didn’t see the Republican tsunami coming. This time they can and are much better prepared. Don’t take anything in November for granted, O Republicans.
Prager H1: California has twice vote to defend the traditional definition of marriage. Twice judges have overruled the will of the voters. Target is now a target of gay activists. They don’t like the idea that the company has given money to a candidate in Minnesota who opposes same sex marriage.
Prager H2: Being able to take care of yourself and fulfill your responsibilities is a great source of happiness. Being dependent on someone else (or the government) is not a recipe for happiness. But there are important caveats.
Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: would Dennis attend a gay marriage ceremony; why does Dennis believe in an afterlife; why is Electoral College necessary; does it make sense to spend a lot of money on college; what responsibility does someone who carries a concealed weapon have to others.
Prager H1: The new generation doesn’t care about feminism. This wasn’t supposed to happen and it drives feminist mothers crazy. Ironically, feminists fought to be like men, not for equality. They have now reaped what they have sown.
