Prager H1: CNN’s Anderson Cooper says he doesn’t want to make Democratic candidates uncomfortable in tonight’s debate. Didn’t seem to bother CNN to “stir things up” in last Republican debate… Pork products will no longer be served in federal prisons. The prisoners don’t like bacon, according the government. Does anyone believe that? What’s really behind this new policy? A Palestinian law student who murdered two Israelis is rewarded with an honorary law degree by the Palestinian Bar… No more nudes from Playboy. What was once so bold is now so tame.
Prager H3: Dennis talks to Jay Michaelson, contributing editor at The Daily Beast and The Forward. The topic is Ben Carson, Nazis and Gun Control.
Prager H2: As usual, California, the bluest of blue states, passes a rash of goofy new laws… It’s getting hard to parody the Left. They’ve become self-mocking… Dennis returns to the importance of Columbus Day… NYT columnist, Nicholas Kristof, wonders why Asians do better than other minority groups. The keys are two parents, education and hard work. But somehow these attributes are not available to blacks. Why not?
Prager H1: There are many people who live in this country who want to dismantle the United States of America – like our President, for one… Columbus Day is supposed to be a celebration of Western Civilization, but this is no longer true in many American cities. Now it’s Native American People’s Day.
Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: are we taking the “war on bullying” too far; is judging other people a bad thing; should we explore Mars; should people have regrets.
Prager H2: If life is not horrific, it’s pretty terrific. Be happy when things don’t go wrong. Don’t rely on big events to be happy.
Prager H1: The Left has no anger like their anger against black conservatives – like Ben Carson… Carson believes that if European Jews had guns the Nazis would have had a much harder time rounding up and killing Jews. This has stirred some controversy. Why? It’s self-evident… Is Paul Ryan the man to save the Republican Congress?
Prager H3: Dennis talks to Jay Nordlinger, senior editor at National Review. His new book is Children of Monsters: An Inquiry into the Sons and Daughters of Dictators… There’s an epidemic of fast food places refusing to serve police. This has to stop.
