Prager H2: A wife posts all the reasons she doesn’t want to have sex with her husband. Dennis reads the list which is amusing, disturbing and hides a lot of important truths about marriage.
Prager H1: As predicted (sadly), European anger at Russia looks to be all talk and no action… Dennis talks to Robert Bryce, senior fellow at The Manhattan Institute. His new book is Smaller Faster Lighter Denser Cheaper: How Innovation Keeps Proving the Catastrophists Wrong.
Prager H3: Dennis talks to Stephen Meyer, a senior fellow at the Discovery Institute. His new book is Darwin’s Doubt: The Explosive Origin of Animal Life and the Case for Intelligent Design. A Best of Prager Hour. Originally broadcast on June 18, 2013.
Prager H2: An appeals court has thrown up a major ObamaCare roadblock. The ruling will be appealed by the Administration, but it could get interesting if this goes up to the Supreme Court… Mosul, Iraq is being Dechristianized… The President has signed an Executive Order banning all employment discrimination based on sexual identity. So, if a man shows up in a dress for a job interview, you can’t take that into account in your hiring decision, even if you’re a religious institution. Thus, the government intrudes further into our lives.
Prager H1: Why is the US trying to force Israel into a ceasefire? Why aren’t Canada and India calling for a ceasefire? If Israel is a trusted ally, shouldn’t we let them make the decision how best to defend themselves?… Does Europe have a moral spine left? Are they willing to do anything to punish Russia? Is our President?
Prager H3: Dennis debates Mira Sucharov, Associate Professor of Political Science at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. She writes for the Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, where she took issue with Dennis’s Prager University video, “The Middle East Problem.”
Prager H2: Dennis talks to leading Dutch journalist, Leon de Winter, about how his countrymen are dealing with the shooting down of MH 17 and death of 193 of their fellow citizens… Will world let Israel defend itself?
Prager H1: The downing of MH 17 is an evil that’s hard to fathom. You read about those who were murdered and you cry and feel intense anger. But will the Dutch who lost 193 citizens or Europe do anything constructive with their outrage? Probably not… The reporting on Israel’s self-defense actions in Gaza scrapes the bottom of the media barrel. At the bottom of the bottom of barrel is the NY Times.
Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: is Dennis worried about low information; should you marry a person who’s $2M in debt; does God hear our prayers.
