Prager H1: The downing of MH 17 is an evil that’s hard to fathom. You read about those who were murdered and you cry and feel intense anger. But will the Dutch who lost 193 citizens or Europe do anything constructive with their outrage? Probably not… The reporting on Israel’s self-defense actions in Gaza scrapes the bottom of the media barrel. At the bottom of the bottom of barrel is the NY Times.
Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: is Dennis worried about low information; should you marry a person who’s $2M in debt; does God hear our prayers.
Prager H2: Relationship expert, Alison Armstrong, makes a rare appearance on the Happiness Hour to talk about how men and women experience happiness differently.
Prager H1: It’s clear that the Malaysian jetliner was shot down by Russian separatists. The equipment was supplied by Russia and is very sophisticated. There’s a very good chance that Russian personnel was involved… The Australian PM, a conservative, made a very strong statement about “the crime.”… The moral distinction between Israel and Hamas couldn’t be more clear…
Prager H3: Dennis talks to Carlotta Gall, reporter for New York Times since 1999, including over ten years in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Her new book is The Wrong Enemy: America in Afghanistan, 2001-2014… If the President had made a case that we needed to preserve our victories in Iraq and Afghanistan, the American public would have embraced him… An appeals court tells the University of Texas that it can use race to create “holistic diversity.” What’s that?
Prager H2: The early best guess is that the Malaysian Airlines jet was shot down by Russian rebels within Ukraine. Why is Russia giving these rebels such sophisticated weapons?… A woman let her 9-year-old daughter play outside in the park while she worked at a nearby MacDonald’s… The Obama Administration wants to prohibit corporations from moving overseas to avoid high taxes.
Prager H1: A Malaysian Airlines jet flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was shot down over Ukraine, according to news reports. 295 people were aboard… The Los Angeles Times sees no moral difference between Hamas and Israel. As usual, they’re following the lead of the NY Times… The crisis at the border shows no sign of abating. The Democrats seem fine with that… Dennis talks to Katie Pavlich, news editor for Townhall.com and a Fox News contributor. Her new book is Assault and Flattery: The Truth about the Left and Their War on Women.
Prager H3: Jon Stewart refers to the United States as an “Imperial Power” without even thinking about it. He just accepts it as common knowledge… Hillary Clinton tells Stewart that America has a great story to tell the world, but we have to tell it to ourselves first. She’s right, but she forgot to mention that the Left, her crowd, has changed the story… Dennis talks to Alan Dershowitz, Professor of Law at Harvard University and the lecturer of the newest course at Prager University, BDS: The Attempt to Strangle Israel.
