Part 1: Good societies need good leaders. Dennis discusses the traits that make someone a leader. They are not always what one would expect.
Part 2: Torah is not value blood. It values goodness and ethical behavior.

1. Good societies depend on good leadership. This applies to the micro realm (the family) as well. Parents must be leaders for their children.
2. Bad leaders are motivated by egocentric reasons – money, power, fame. A good leader is prepared to risk popularity to make hard choices.
3. The Torah has little use for blood ties and birth order.
