Prager H1: The Academy Awards were rife with politics last night. It makes it very tough to watch. Joe Biden spoke on campus rape culture. Leo called Global Warming the biggest problem we face. And, of course, the non-crisis of racism in Hollywood was spread throughout the evening.
Prager H3: Dennis looks at last night’s debate. Trump had some great lines. But so did Rubio and Cruz… How many times were the words “lie” and “liar” used?
Prager H2: There’s a lot of anxiety out there — a messy nomination fight, terror threats, economy faltering. All this anxiety argues eloquently for a day of rest — a day where you leave the world. Religious people call it a Sabbath. You can call it anything you want. It will make you happier.
Prager H1: It’s hard to watch the Republican debates and not grimace. What should have been the most idea based of nomination fights has devolved into name-calling. Last night was no exception. Who is responsible for that?… Peggy Noonan offers an excellent explanation of the Trump phenomenon.
Prager H3: Dennis laments the current divide in the Conservative party. He fears that many conservatives will vote for Hillary, than for the conservative that isn’t their first choice. Dennis tasks those conservatives to ask themselves… is it better to have a Democrat for President or an imperfect Republican?
Prager H2: Dennis continues to discuss Trump and the G.O.P. race, asserting that if Trump were truly honorable, he would resign from the race for the good of the Republican party. Dennis does not trust that Trump will do what he promises to do. Callers weigh in. A Republican must win the majority of delegates in 8 states to have a chance at the presidential nomination, Dennis laments that this is not more widely known and reported on.
