Prager H1: How many pets do you have to own before you’re considered eccentric? Callers have their stories, theories and opinions. And so, of course, does Dennis.
Prager H1: How many pets do you have to own before you’re considered eccentric? Callers have their stories, theories and opinions. And so, of course, does Dennis.
Prager H3: Robert George, Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University and a visiting professor at Harvard Law School. His new book is Conscience and Its Enemies: Confronting the Dogmas of Liberal Secularism.
Prager H2: Dennis reflects on his interview last hour with George Gilder and the lens it provides for looking at the Left/Right divide… Why is George Zimmerman on trial? The prosecutor’s witnesses seem to exonerate the defendant… The Battle of Gettysburg was fought 150 years ago.
Prager H1: Dennis talks to George Gilder, pre-eminent thinker, economic theorist and co-founder of the Discovery Institute. His new book is Knowledge and Power: The Information Theory of Capitalism and How it is Revolutionizing our World.
Prager H3: Dennis talks to Tom Barton, the editorial page editor for the Savannah Morning News, about the Paula Deen case. It’s tantamount to a high tech lynching… Another MSNBC regular makes another outrageous statement and suffers no consequence. Compare to Paula Deen… The NSA leaker, Edward Snowden, has done a lot of damage. The President doesn’t seem to think it’s a big deal… July 4th is coming up. The Prager University 4th of July Declaration is the way to add meaning to the day.
Prager H2: The Supreme Court decision last week on same sex marriage will divide the country even more than Roe v. Wade. The gay activist campaign was based on the idea that if you oppose same sex marriage you are no better than someone who opposed inter-racial marriage; in other words, you’re a bigot. Who wants to countenance a bigot?
Prager H1: 19 firefighters were killed fighting a wild fire in Arizona yesterday. How could that happen?… Egypt is in turmoil again… A tragically naive American student was murdered in Alexandria; a Dutch reporter was raped in Cairo… Bert and Ernie are depicted as gay lovers on the cover on this week’s New Yorker Magazine.
Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: If the woman is older in the relationship, is that a factor; Was a fountain pen for Fathers Day a good gift to receive; why shouldn’t a woman postpone marriage; could there ever be a second Holocaust in Europe?
Prager H2: Are good looking people happier? Callers weigh in.
Prager H1: The George Zimmerman case has Dennis wondering if young black people distinguish between black jargon and normal vernacular. Charles Krauthammer has an insightful Washington Post article about the reasons for overturning D.O.M.A. John Yoo joins the show to talk about his Prop. 8 article and the California laws regarding same sex marriage.
Prager H3: Dennis talks to Dr Mark Kelly, Urologist at St Johns Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. The topic is the over-treatment of prostate cancer.
Prager H2: The President has decided wage a war on coal… Dennis talks to David Freddoso, editorial page editor of the Washington Examiner. His new book is Spin Masters: How the Media Ignored the Real News and Helped Reelect Barack Obama… Dennis can’t go over the idea that the National Cathedral rang its bell to celebrate the Supreme Court’s same sex marriage decision. Does this mean the mainstream Christian position is to be in favor of same sex marriage? What about the Christians who oppose it? Are they sinners?… Bryan Stow, the man who was beaten outside of Dodger Stadium two years ago, is a shell of his former self. He can no longer take care of himself. Tragic. And angering.
