Prager 20110705 – 2 Egalitarian

Prager H2: Musing on the Casey Anthony trial, Dennis wonders whether defending criminals changes defense attorneys. Police admit that being around the dregs of society often has a negative impact on them. Why would it be different for criminal defense attorneys?.. Even if one accepts the Administration’s own figures, the cost of creating each stimulus-related job was $278K… Callers tell Dennis about their experiences using the 4th of July Declaration.

Prager 20110704 – 3 Independence Day, Part III

Prager H3: Dennis repeats his point that if you can’t celebrate America, then you can’t celebrate any country. It’s sad that waving a flag or wearing the colors is considered to be “Republican”. A descendant of slaves calls in, and says that he can imagine his ancestors looking down, thinking that it might have been worth it to come to America as slaves so that their descendants could live as free people.

Prager 20110704 – 2 Independence Day, Part II

Prager H2: Broadcasting live on July 4th, Dennis addresses a left-wing caller who explains his discomfort with celebrating America’s birthday. Dennis explains why America is a country worth celebrating. If you can’t celebrate America, then what country can you celebrate? America should be compared to other countries, not to an imaginary utopia.

Prager 20110704 – 1 Independence Day, Part I

Prager H1: Dennis broadcasts live on our nation’s birthday to help make this holiday a meaningful one. July 4th needs to be more than just a barbecue. It’s about honoring a unique country, one that does not care about ethnicity or race. A caller from Australia expresses his gratitude for how much America has helped his country. One way to express one’s love for America is to celebrate on July 4th. But too many on the Left see flags and celebrations as “Republican”.

Prager 20110630 -3 Public Denouncement

Prager H3: Does cruelty in the name of God turn people away from God? DP wishes that rabbis, priests, ministers, and imams could hold a rally against Islamist violence in the name of God. Religious people need to be seen as being repulsed by evil in God’s name. Also, Dennis talks about President Obama’s characterization of “rich” people owning jets…Dennis wishes that he was one of those people.

Prager 20110630 -1 Negotiating?!

Prager H1: North Korea is now the chair of the United Nations Conference on Disarmament. The UN reaches a new level of absurdity. Dennis talks about the dangerously foolish idea that free countries can negotiate with totalitarian countries. And a high school principal in Nevada gave a graduation address in Spanish. A defender called it an example of the American melting pot. Of course, it is the opposite of the melting pot ideal.

Prager 20110629 -3 Hatred from Left

Prager H3: Glenn Beck is attacked in New York watching a movie. Why do those of the Right need bodyguards wherever they go in public, but no one on the Left does? Michael Moore is lionized on campus; Ann Coulter needs protection… John Lennon’s personal assistant at the time of his death says he had become a conservative in his last years… The Left puts its hatred of Big Pharma above the quality of life for cancer patients.
