Prager H1: Fear and Frustration

Prager H1: President Obama tells a small group of donors that the electorate is motivated by fear and frustration. Yes, Mr. President, fear of you and frustration that you promised to rule as Centrist, not as a Leftist. Maureen Dowd vents her ire at Republican women. But she doesn’t back up any of her mean-spirited charges with facts.

Prager H2: Silent Cal

Prager H2: The most underrated of our Presidents, Calvin Coolidge, made a clear statement in 1924 about why small government, not big government is the American way . Dennis talks to Tim Scott, a Republican candidate for Congress in South Carolina. He happens to be black. The President of Germany, Angela Merkel, declares multiculturalism to be an “utter failure.”

Prager H1: Walk Out

Prager H1: Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar walk out on their own show when Bill O’Reilly has the temerity to assert that Muslims perpetrated the 9/11 terror attack. Dennis talks Ruth McClung, a real life rocket scientist who decided to enter politics and run for Congress in the 7th district of Arizona against one of the most liberals members in the House. In a 55% Hispanic district, she’s now pulled ahead. Dennis explains why he is now proud to be Republican. France is in the grip of national strikes over “pension reform,” moving the retirement age from 60 to 62. Can Sarkozy pull a Thatcher?

Prager H2: Happiness Hour: In the Wilderness

Prager H2: The nature of life is to wander in the proverbial wilderness. That “wilderness” can take many forms – career, spiritual, relationships. Sometimes we find a way out; sometimes we don’t. Even Moses didn’t make it to the Promised Land. But how we come to terms with this idea is a key to living a happier life.

Prager H3: Open Lines

Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: are people on the Left brainwashed; does Dennis prefer New York City or Los Angeles: is it harder to raise children now than it was 20 years ago; is peace possible in the Middle East; should a couple take government money so that the mother can stay home to raise their child.

Prager H1: Anti-Children

Prager H1: Joy Behar accuses Congressman Michele Bachmann of being anti-children because she opposes legislation that provides health care for poor children. Never mind that Bachmann has five children and has foster-parented 23 others. She opposes a policy that Behar supports, therefore she’s anti-children. This is how the Left argues. Dennis talks to Joe Miller, Republican candidate for Senate in Alaska. He’s in a tough race with sour grapes, write-in candidate, Lisa Murkowski.

Prager H2: Big Off the Tee

Prager H2: Should a man who has had a sex change operation and is now a woman be allowed to compete in LPGA events?… The President rails against Republicans accusing them of being against everything good. So much for being the Great Uniter. You expect him to be a cheerleader for his team, but has a president ever been as a partisan as this one?

Prager H3: Israel Test

Prager H3: Dennis talks to George Gilder, senior fellow at the Discovery Institute, and one of Dennis’s favorite thinkers. His important new book is The Israel Test. A Best of Prager Hour. Originally broadcast August 13, 2009.

Prager H1: Non Stop Chilean Miners Rescue

Prager H1: Dennis celebrates the rescue of the Chilean miners, but wonders why cable news has covered it non-stop. Dennis talks to Jon Kyl, Arizona Senator and Minority Whip, about the Republicans common sense plan for economic growth. A rock band stops traffic on a Los Angeles freeway. Everyone associated with this stunt should be sent to jail for a meaningful period of time.

Prager H2: Male/Female Hour: Male Sexual Nature

Prager H2: Dennis uses a call from earlier in the week to return to a core theme: male sexual nature. In order to understand men, women must understand men’s nature. Callers weigh in.

Prager H3: Strong Women

Prager H3: Meg Whitman did very well in her debate last night with Jerry Brown. She and Carly Fiorina are a powerful duo. They represent a chance for California to return to Golden State it once was. Even the mighty Washington Post has been cowed by fear of radical Islam. This trend is getting downright scary. The average Post Office worker makes over $80K, even though the Post Office is losing billions of dollars. Still want the government to run health care?

Prager H1: A New Low

Prager H1: Democrats hit a new low. until the next one. They have charged the Republicans with financing campaigns with foreign money. Do they any proof? Who needs proof?… The New Republic wonders why the liberals can’t create an easy-to-explain message like conservatives. French workers go to work shutting down France. The issue: raising the retirement age two years from 60 to 62.
