Prager H2: Scotland’s Shame

Prager H2: The controversy over Scotland’s release of the Lockerbie bomber mushroomed over the weekend. The more one studies this decision, the worse it looks. The Director of the FBI, Robert Mueller, wrote a letter to the Scottish Justice Secretary, unprecedented in its harshness. Dennis plays an exchange between the Express Jet pilot, stuck in her plane with her passengers for 6 hours, and ground control in Rochester, MN.

Senator Chuck Schumer contends that any “objective observer” can see that the Democrats has been open to compromise on health care reform.

The Libyans hail their returning hero, a mass murderer of 270 people. The Iraqis are now not so sure they want the US to leave. The Transportation Dept puts the blame for the Express Jet fiasco squarely on ground personnel.

Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: if a child breaks something in a store, should the parent pay for it; when should you discuss with your parents that it’s time for them to go to a nursing home; why does Dennis have a squeaky chair; why doesn’t Dennis’s voice match his face.

Prager H1: More government is not the solution to our health care problems. Less government is the solution to our health care problems. Dennis talks to Dr. Peter Weiss, Ob/Gyn in private practice and Assistant Clinical Professor of Ob/Gyn at UCLA Medical School. The bomber of Pan Am 103 in which 270 people were murdered was released today by the Scottish government. The Justice Secretary said “compassion and mercy” were the reasons.

Prager H2: Dennis talks to Ishmael Jones, former Deep Cover agent for the CIA. (Ishmael Jones is a pseudonym). His book is The Human Factor: Inside the CIA’s Dysfunctional Intelligence Culture. The former head of Greenpeace admits that the organization’s statements about melting polar ice cap were fabricated. Pakistanis still hate Americans, even after the election of President Obama.
