Prager H1: A New Judge

Prager H1: President Obama nominates Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court. She’s reliably on the Left and that’s all that really matters to the Democrats. Geezers in Georgia can no longer say a prayer of thanksgiving out loud. The meals they receive are subsidized by the federal government, so it’s a separation of church and state issue. Hugo Chavez puts his biggest foe, a former close ally, in jail. Obviously, the Venezuelan dictator has a hard time taking criticism. Actor Danny Glover gave the commencement address at Utah State. Why?

Prager H1: The Modern Progressive

Prager H1: Everyone who existed before the Modern Progressive must have been filled with hate – that’s the standard view of the Left. The “ancients” were not in favor of same-sex marriage, for example. And they believed public prayer. The American Cancer Society thinks the new cancer study released by a presidential panel is over the top. The American Cancer Society is almost always over the top on cancer scares. For them to say the President’s Panel is over the top is unprecedented. 250 scientists have denounced global warming skeptics. They don’t attack their science, but their motives.

Prager H2: Happiness Hour: Reflections on Mom

Prager H2: Dennis reflects on this, the first Mother’s Day without his mom who passed away this past September. He asks listeners who have a strained relationship with their mothers to call in.

Prager H3: Open Lines

Prager H3: Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: do women make good politicians; how can a parent reconcile two quarreling children; does the Arizona immigration law violate the Bible; what musical instrument does Dennis play.

Prager H1: Tazed

Prager H1: This past weekend a teenager ran onto the field during a Philadelphia Phillies game. He was brought down by police wielding a taser. Did the police use excessive force? The ACLU thinks so. So does Pennsylvania governor, Ed Rendell. But Dennis doesn’t… Students wearing American flag t-shirts on Cinco De Mayo were kicked out of school in a suburb of San Francisco. The school administration thought it was provocative. So, did some students. This is another world-upside-down story. Why should the American flag be provocative?

Prager H2: Cinco de What?

Prager H2: Dennis continues his discussion of the San Francisco incident: students kicked out of high school for wearing American flag t-shirt on Cinco de Mayo… Today is National Prayer Day. A judge in Wisconsin has declared it unconstitutional… CBS adds its voice to the question of what was the motive of the Times Square Bomber. Their answer: he didn’t get to realize the American Dream. Listen enough to the mainstream media and you start to feel sorry for this would-be mass murderer.

Prager H3: Global Warming Blunder

Prager H3: Dennis talk to Roy Spencer, Principal Research Scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. His new book is The Great Global Warming Blunder: How Mother Nature Fooled the World’s Top Climate Scientists.

Prager H1: The 11th Hour

Prager H1: The Times Square Bomber was nabbed just before his plane was about to take off. How did he get on the plane when he was on the no-fly list?… A preacher in England is arrested for saying that homosexuality is a sin. It is sad to see this country, once such a beacon of freedom and liberty, being strangled by PC… CEO’s say that California is the least friendly state to do business. The golden state is golden no more.

Prager H2: Male/Female Hour: Open Lines

Prager H2: Dennis opens the lines for any questions on the subject of male/female relationships, something he does periodically. Issues raised include: how much time should you spend with your wife; what should you do with pictures of former wives; should one infidelity be the basis for a divorce; what do you when your wife uses abusive language toward you.
