Values divide people, not culture. Sadly, people conflate the two. A Best of Prager Hour. Originally broadcast on January 3, 2017.
The Left takes a daily bubble bath in self-righteousness… PragerU’s latest video, What You Need to Know about Planned Parenthood, has been placed on the YouTube’s restricted list… Dennis talks to Steve Forbes, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Media about the state of the economy.
Dennis is open to any practical solutions that would stop school shootings. But what laws would do it? It’s fine to emote, but after the emoting ends what is a workable solution?… Dennis talks to Lee Habeeb, vice president of content at Salem Media Group. He is also the host of the syndicated radio show Our American Stories. The topic is the media and the Parkland massacre.
Dennis talks to his friend and talk show colleague, Hugh Hewitt, about the Russia indictment and the Parkland massacre… Should teachers train in fire arms to protect their students?… Dennis offers his annual lament about the meaninglessness of Presidents Day.
Jonathan Alter compares the Russian Facebook attack to Pearl Harbor. Thomas Friedman tops him. He compares it to the 9/11 attack.
Jonathan Alter of the Daily Beast breathlessly compares the Russian Internet effort to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor… The Left is so invested in the Russian Collusion story they can’t stop themselves from engaging in non-stop hysteria…
Per usual, callers set the agenda. Before Dennis gets to calls, he covers the breaking news that Robert Mueller is indicting 13 Russian Nationals for interfering in US election. That’s it? Some Russians playing on Facebook and Twitter?… Does Dennis have tips for toasting a bride and groom; why does the Left ruin the arts with politics.
In light of this week’s shooting, Dennis asks a very difficult happiness question. Is it possible to find one’s way back to happiness after the death of a child?
Evil and tragedy are often used interchangeably. This is a mistake. They are two different things… No gun laws would have stopped the Parkland massacre… The statistic that there were 18 school shootings this year was all over the mainstream media yesterday. Only one problem: it’s not true.
